Wax jackets, jumpers and chinos: our fav picks from Crew Clothing’s AW15 collection

We’ve been championing the coastal-inspired British fashions of Crew Clothing just about as long as we’ve been running the Fashion & Style Directory. We launched back in February last year, can you believe it?

Since then, Crew has gently refreshed its brand to bring its logo, stores and website bang up to date, and its AW15 collection is looking pretty good indeed.

Among the new womenswear arrivals, we rather like this bestselling Delamere wax jacket (£225), which combines a stylish check with practical features such as roomy pockets and a poppered storm flap. For something that’s sure to make an impact, we approve of the bold floral print of the Laurel shirt (£65), and love the jolly stripes of this cosy Petra dress (£70) as well.

The guys are well catered for, too. You can never go wrong with a classic everyday knit like this Oxford half-zip jumper (£75), which you could happily pair with these soft but hardwearing Abbotsham chinos (£65). And on damp, autumnal days like today – when you need a bit more protection from the elements – the Fortrose wax jacket (£245), complete with a storm collar and water-repellent surface, is just the ticket.
