Valentine’s Day competition: Tell us why this perfume from Liberty is the perfect match for your personality
This competition is now closed – find out who the winner is here!
As with all perfume orders over £75 at Liberty’s online store, there’s free delivery until 8 February when you quote the code PERFUME at checkout – the perfect opportunity to get your order in for Valentine’s Day!
Featuring notes of Sicilian lemon, citron, mandarin, grapefruit and cypress, Eau d’Hadrien is described on the Liberty website as “a fresh combination made of pure essences that freely diffuse their sweet aromas and which sparks. Then, the Tuscany cypress, with its woody and camphorated notes, gives body to this timeless fragrance.” ‘Camphorated’ – to save you Googling it like we had to – refers to camphor, an oil renowned for its strong, rosemary-like aroma.
Meanwhile, Annick Goutal’s own website calls Eau d’Hadrien “a universal perfume inspired by a Tuscany landscape”, “the expression of Annick Goutal’s deep passion for Italy” and “a concentrate of citrus fruit ripened under the Mediterranean sun, underpinned by the cypress wood.” It is, clearly, a perfume with a personality all of its own…
