Do we have a winner in our Debenhams beach dress competition? We shore do!

Well, you certainly impressed us with your enthusiasm and creativity in our Debenhams beach dress competition!

We received nearly 150 entries across Twitter, Facebook and the website, and there were some truly brilliant ones – so thank you so much to everyone who took part.

In the end, of course, there could only be one winner, and after much deliberation we decided that our absolute favourite was Patricia Bond’s witty ode to the Debenhams beach dress:

I’d love this Debenhams beach dress because…
It’s pretty and light and a little bit revealing
And to think I might wear it is very appealing
To buy it myself is a bit out of reach
So hoping to win so I can go to the beach x
