2016 might have been a year of surprises, but one trend that’s been no surprise this year is the continued rise of activewear – or ‘athleisure’, as some of the retailers like to call it.
From celebrities launching their own labels to the arrival of new stores on the high street, practical yet stylish activewear – which looks just as fab on the town or in the office as in the gym – is a trend that looks like it’s here to stay.
One of the biggest names in the activewear space right now is online retailer Active in Style, which we feature in our Directory here. Created by Caroline Lucey in 2013, Active in Style is an activewear store that believes in the possibility of living your best active life the fit, fashionable way, offering a curated collection of the best athleisure pieces from all around the world.
The store features colourful designs for women that are as style-conscious as they are functional, including hoodies, bras, leggings, gym bags and more.
