Designer brand Ariella wows with its gowns – and a special discount for our readers

If you’re a woman who loves elegant cocktail, evening and occasion wear, the chances are you’ll have come across the famous Ariella brand in your nearest branch of John Lewis, Debenhams or House of Fraser.

It’s a label that was founded by London College of Fashion graduate Aristos Constantinou and his brother Achilleas in 1966, and that has since enjoyed nearly half a century of continuous trading – delivering exclusive, original and beautiful styles for fashion-conscious women all around the world.

What you might not be so aware of is that since 2011, Ariella has had its own online store at Ariella.com, featuring both the popular Ariella London range and the designer label Ariella Couture. Beverley Knight, Myleene Klass and Leona Lewis are among the stars that have appeared on television and the red carpet wearing an Ariella Couture gown.

With such a great offer, we couldn’t resist recommending some of our personal – and most affordable – favourites. From the Ariella Couture collection, we adore the Penelope evening gown, a sensational, deep red, stretch satin strapless dress with a V-shape bust design and pretty bow at the empire seam, available in sizes 6 to 16. Usually £490, it’s currently reduced to £245 – or a tempting £147 after your extra 40% discount is applied.
