Competition: Win this gorgeous gemstone necklace from Made by Marianne
This competition is now closed! Thank you for all your entries – you can see who won by clicking here.
Yesterday we profiled jewellery maker Marianne Robson, and her hidden gem of a shop, Made by Marianne, in Stockton-on-Tees.
Now, as promised, one lucky reader of the Fashion & Style Directory can win the gorgeous necklace, worth £40, that Marianne has created especially for us.
Made from silvery grey pearls and cloudy quartz – including pretty heart-shaped stones – the necklace is bold but elegant, and designed to be perfect for pairing with lots of different colours and outfits. The clasp is made from sterling silver, and the necklace is about 19.5 inches (50 cm) long. We love it, and are grateful to Marianne for offering such a lovely prize for us to give away!
To see the full range of what Marianne offers, don’t forget to check out her online shop at www.madebymarianne.co.uk, which features necklaces, earrings, bracelets and sets in a multitude of colour, style and gemstone combinations – all available to ship worldwide.
You can also shop Marianne’s collection on Etsy, or pop into her shop at 24 High Street in Stockton-on-Tees. You’ll find Marianne there from 9.30am-5pm every day except Tuesdays and Sundays, where she’ll be delighted to show you her creations or discuss commissions – remember, whether you’re looking for bespoke bridal jewellery, or simply a necklace that will perfectly match your favourite dress, Marianne can create something beautiful especially for you. With Mother’s Day coming up on 15 March, why not choose a lovely, unique gift for Mum from Made by Marianne?
And if you are on the hunt for bridal jewellery, you might also be interested in paying our photographer friend Darren Mack a visit – he took the lovely picture above of Marianne in her shop, but tends to be found at weddings around the North East and beyond, working his photographic magic on happy couples! Go to darrenmack.co.uk to find out more, and admire some of his previous work.
