It’s hard to believe that summer is already here. Not so long ago we were all wrapped up beneath dozens of layers of clothing in order to fight off those endless winter blues. But now we’re already in the realm of summer dresses, floral prints and – whisper it – bikinis.
And at no other time of the year is there more pressure on us to stay stylish than in the summer months. So in order to make sure that you look effortlessly chic whilst searching for that elusive summer sun, here are a few style pointers from the fashion blogosphere.
Retro sunglasses
Now that the nineties revival is in full swing, it’s time for everyone to grab a slice of the action by donning a pair of those round retro sunglasses as famously sported by Shannen Doherty in Beverly Hills 90210. Now, just find some sunshine so that you get a valid reason to wear them!
Straw hats
Another summer essential that is making something of a welcome return is the beach-battered straw hat.
Not only are they cheap and light, but they also help you achieve that festival feeling thoughout the summer.
